Summary

YouTube No-Pause does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data. It does not use analytics, does not contact any server operated by us or any third party, and does not track your browsing or viewing activity. The extension stores a small amount of data locally on your own device only, described in full below.

What data is stored, and where

All data below stays on your device. None of it is ever sent anywhere — there is no server this extension talks to.

localStorage entries are scoped to youtube.com by the browser itself and are not readable by any other website. chrome.storage.local data is private to this extension, is never synced to other devices or accounts, and is permanently deleted the moment you uninstall the extension.

Permissions this extension requests, and why

Permission	Why it's needed
`tabs`	To open the welcome/update page after install or update, and to open a new tab when you click a link inside the extension's popup or welcome page.
`storage`	To save the local-only usage stats described above via `chrome.storage.local`.
Site access: `youtube.com` and `youtube-nocookie.com`	The extension only runs on YouTube. It needs this access to detect and dismiss the "Still watching?" inactivity prompt and to keep playback from being interrupted. It does not run on, or have access to, any other website you visit.

What this extension does not do

Does not collect your name, email, or any account information
Does not track your watch history, search history, or browsing activity
Does not use any analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting service
Does not contain ads or ad-tracking code
Does not sell or share data with any third party, because no data ever leaves your device
Does not run on, or collect any information from, websites other than YouTube

Links to other sites

The extension's popup and welcome page contain links to external sites — for example a "Buy me a coffee" support link, and promotional links to other projects by the developer. Clicking these opens a new browser tab to that external site. Those sites are operated independently and are governed by their own privacy policies; this policy only covers the YouTube No-Pause extension itself.

Children's privacy

This extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age, since it does not collect personal data at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the extension after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
